My daughter Andrea passed away on June 8, 2015.
Andrea recently visited me through a dream. I think that she showed me a glimpse of Heaven and what goes on there.
In my dream, I see her in some cloud-like place. She is dressed in a soft green and pink chiffon dress.
She is holding a wooden box in her hand. She is looking upward at leaves that are slowly fluttering down from a place above her. The leaves are gold and bronze, and have distinct black veins.
As I observe these leaves, I find it a bit puzzling, but it seems as though I can hear as each leaf is singing a clear, sweet song that I have never heard before.
Each leaf sings a different song. I cannot place the melody at all.
The leaves sing and flutter down slowly into the open box that Andrea is holding.
When the last leaf has settled into the box, Andrea closes the lid, smiles at me, and my dream comes to an end.
My name is Clare Ventura. I was born and raised on Maui, Hawaii, and I currently live on the Big Island of Hawaii. I have been painting for many years, and now, within the last few years, I have been selling my art work . I enjoy painting in the the Fauvism style, but have attempted other styles as well. It's all fun. I quite often paint whatever catches my fancy at the moment. I have painted many diverse subjects, and I am currently painting landscapes in Hawaii.
